La Palma's Bajada Programme for Tuesday and Wednesday

Last night's pandorgas were beautiful. And he first one in the procession was the world cup, which got a tremendous cheer.
Tuesday 13th
10 am - 2 pm The usual sporting stuff in the sports ground.
12 noon. All the church bells will ring at once.
12:15 Special concert by the municipal band in the Casas Consistoriales de Santa Cruz de La Palma.
5 pm Dance of the gargoyles going from the big stage by the port through O'Daly, Plaza de España, A. Pérez de Brito, Plaza de la Alameda, Sacerdote Juan Pérez Álvarez and the Plaza de San Francisco.
7 pm. "Flower battle" which will proceed from the port to the Plaza de la Alameda, accompanied by bands.
9:30 pm The Acrobats. At the Hospital de Dolores, plaza de Santo Domingo, calle O'Daly (in front of Casa Sotomayor), calle Apurón (fopposite La Pérgola), Plaza de España, Avda. El Puente (opposite the market), calle A. Pérez de Brito (opposite Acera Ancha) and the Plaza de la Alameda.
Wednesday 14th
10 am - 2 pm The usual sporting stuff in the sports ground.
12 noon. All the church bells will ring at once.
Festival of the 17th century
12:15 The town crier will go from the town hall announcing the Festival of the 17th century.
6:30 pm. Decoration of the main street of Santa Cruz de La Palma: Young pairs will wait on their balconies and there will be old fashioned amusements in the streets.
7 pm Concert of minuet music, at the Casas Consistoriales de Santa Cruz de La Palma.
7:40 pm Parade of the militias from Bajamar.
7:45 pm. Procession of the militias from Bajamar from the Santa Catalina castle along the following streets: Castillete, Pedro J. de las Casas, Dr. Pérez Camacho, Pérez de Brito, O'Daly y Plaza de la Constitución to the main stage.
10 pm and 11:30 pm. Festival of the 18th century Minute music and dancing in 18th century costumes.
Afterwards, procession of the militias from Bajamar from the stage back to Santa Catalina castle.
1 am Thursday Popular dance at the sea front stage.
